Peter Radacher runs the Snowboard Museum in Mühlbach am Hochkönig in the Austrian province of Salzburg. The goal of the museum is to document and preserve the evolution of snowboarding and its history and to give people the opportunity to see and feel how boards have changed over the years.
This passion project of Peter has led to the writing of this book because the history of snowboarding is more exciting than you think! Starting with the predecessors like the historic Knappenross, Sherman Poppens Snurfer, and the first boards from Winterstick, Sims, Burton and many more to the modern snowboard. In Peter Radacher's well-researched book, now in its third edition, you'll learn all about the evolution of snowboarding.
